About This Event

Flow/Llif - The River Wye from Source to Sea

Don't miss this beautiful exhibition celebrating the River Wye, located in the gloriously restored Pavilion, on Castle Green in Hereford. The exhibition fills two stunning rooms overlooking the Wye - a perfect setting for the culmination of two years work by artist Lucy Burden - walking and painting the Wye Valley. Two supporting videos by Steve Bennett and Tom Bullough add to the very real sense of flow you feel from this lovely exhibition.

There is a lovely backstory to 'Flow / Llif'. Last year, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wye Valley Walk, The Wye Valley National Landscape led a linear ramble along the 138 miles of this much loved long distance path. Over 100 people joined the 13 day walks, and among them were artist Lucy Burden and amateur filmmaker Steve Bennett, and the rest, as they say, is history!
