About This Event
Hamnet won an Oscar and everyone wants to quite rightly explore where it was filmed, and so that is where we'll begin, before stepping back in time to explore so much more of this county's hidden history. We'll begin at the Wobbly Badger for a cuppa or breakfast, then we'll wander around the 'film set' that was Weobley, before exploring Wigmore Castle and its Medieval Mortimer Family. Then we'll climb up Croft Ambrey, one of so many Iron Age Hillforts scattered across this stunning landscape. We'll end for a drink - or if you book early a late lunch - at the beautiful Riverside Inn at Aymestrey.
