About This Event

23 May-2 June 2024 the booktown of Hay-on-Wye welcomes writers, readers, thinkers and dreamers of all ages for 11 days of events and activities. Set in the tranquil surrounds of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, it's the perfect setting to enjoy a detour from the day-to-day.

There’s something for all ages on site, with the very best new fiction and non-fiction, plus a healthy dose of comedy, music, theatre and entertainment, the 600+ event line up offers something for everyone. Events include Adam Kay, Alex Wharton, Amor Towles, Bonnie Tyler, Caitlin Moran, Charlotte Church, Colm Toibin, Cressida Cowell, Dame Judi Dench, Elizabeth Day, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Greg Jenner, Hamza Yassin, Hanan Issa, Jacqueline Wilson, Jeanette Winterson, Jeff Kinney, Katherine Rundell, Lenny Henry, Michael Rosen, Merlin Sheldrake, Miriam Margolyes, Rory Stewart, Sara Pascoe, Toby Jones and many, many more.
