At 3pm on Sunday 1 September, The Heath Quartet, one of the leading string quartets of the present day, will perform an arrangement of one of Corelli’s well-known Concerto Grossi; a string quartet by Haydn; and a short composition by Benjamin Britten. In the second half of the concert they will be joined by the celebrated clarinettist Robert Plane to perform Mozart’s glorious Clarinet Quintet, one of the most loved works in the chamber repertoire.
