Hereford AppleFest
About This Event
In the first annual Hereford AppleFest, from 1 to 16 October 2022, local businesses, councils, cider producers and community groups are banding together to provide an array of entertainment.
Activities include: live music, children’s activities, local artisan cider and apple juice, tours and tastings, the Hereford Applefest banquet, themed trails, giveaways, guest speakers, themed markets and more!
Bookended by activities for all ages in High Town and at the Museum of Cider, the festival will see Fringe events in the city and throughout the county.
Head to Hereford High Town on Saturday 1 October for the Hereford AppleFest Kick Off featuring live music, performances, children’s activities, exhibitions, trails, the Cider Marquee, and the Saturday market.
The 8 and 9 October sees the internationally-renowned Big Apple Harvestime festival taking place in nearby Much Marcle, coupled with the inaugural Hereford AppleFest Banquet on Saturday 8 October, to be held amid the splendour of Hereford’s historic Town Hall.
With the region having the perfect soils and weather to grow the finest apples in the world, not to mention centuries of experience in crafting fine apple juice and cider and perry, there’s no better place to visit to celebrate this special fruit.
