Hereford Chamber Choir - 'Voices of the New World'

An uplifting evening of choral music celebrating 20th century America including Bernstein’s magnificent 'Chichester Psalms', for which the choir is joined by an outstanding ensemble of local musicians including Alison Martin (harp), Ewan Murray (organ), and Isaac Scot (percussion). The choir will also sing Copland's 'Four Motets', Whitacre's 'Sleep', Lauridsen's 'O Magnum Mysterium' and Thompson's Alleluia. The concert also features Copland’s 'Four Early Songs' sung by our Music Director Simon Harper (tenor) and accompanied by pianist Simon Peberdy.
