About This Event

The River Wye has always played a central role in the life of our city, even before settlement began here on its banks. A natural wonder, a defence and a threat, a source of food, a route for transport and communication, a resource for industry, trade, tourism and recreation, the river is a precious artery flowing through the city. Join our walk along its banks and learn about the complex relationship between river and city, past present and future. The walk starts at 11:30am at The Pavilion, Castle Green HR1 2NW what3words///plant.tiles.acted and ends at the West Front of the Cathedral Duration 90 minutes approx. Maximum 15 people
