Lewis Barfoot Live at The Globe At Hay
- 16th April
About This Event
Contemporary folk at its best. London Irish singer songwriter and folk artist Lewis Barfoot takes to the road this April for an eight-date solo UK tour supported by Culture Ireland. A seasoned performer with an angelic voice and a flair for storytelling, Lewis blends contemporary folk with traditional influences, creating music that is both intimate and mythically resonant. Her live shows are known for their warmth, sincerity, and luminous quality that invites audiences into a deeply felt experience.
Lewis has been performing under the folk umbrella for over a decade, with two full-length studio albums to her name: Glenaphuca (2021) and HOME (2023), both of which received strong support from across BBC Radio, RTÉ Radio 1, Folk Radio UK and RTÉ na Gaeltachta.
“An arrestingly good vocalist and songwriter” - John O’Regan, Living Tradition
“The delightful sound of a musician who is both an accomplished composer of original material and a torchbearer keeping alive traditional styles and song" - David Pratt, KLOF
