Make a Mouse - Black and White House Museum - Hereford
About This Event
Children aged 4-10 can participate in our Make a Mouse workshop (1-3pm) and take home their very own handmade felt mouse. This engaging activity is perfect for sparking creativity and making lasting memories.
Children will have the opportunity to create their own felt mouse using pre-cut materials. The process involves some basic sewing, with assistance from parents or guardians.
We supply everything needed for the workshop, including white and grey felt, needle and thread, stuffing, sequins, PVA glue, string, and pink and grey felt tip pens.
No need to book in advance. Simply turn up on the day to join the fun.
Supervision Required: Adults must stay with children throughout the activity to ensure their safety and assist with the crafting process.
Cost: The workshop is FREE for children. Donations are appreciated to help cover material costs. Suitable for Ages 4-10: The activity is designed for young children, with simple steps and plenty of creative freedom.

KIDS GO FREE: All children can participate in the activity for free, making it an ideal family outing.
Adult Entry: £3.50 per adult, which includes access to the entire museum and all exhibits.
No need to book - turn up and drop in. Adults must remain with their children.
Disabled Access:
The workshops are on the ground floor of the House, making it accessible for those with limited mobility. There are steep stairs but no lift in the House. Public and shop toilets are available within a 2-5 minute walk. Public parking is available within a 5 minute walk.
