About This Event

This workshop invites young creatives aged 7-14 to explore botanical printing techniques, using natural materials gathered from the surrounding landscape. Participants will experiment with a range of exciting printmaking processes, including: Monoprinting – creating unique, one-of-a-kind prints using leaves, flowers, and organic textures and Cyanotype printing – an early photographic process using sunlight to produce striking blue prints from botanical forms. Working both indoors and outdoors, young artists will draw inspiration directly from the gardens, learning how to observe, collect, and transform natural materials into expressive artworks. Event Details: Time: 11am - 2pm Led by: Kitty Perceval Please Bring: Clothes suitable for art-making (things might get messy!) Weather-appropriate outdoor wear Packed lunch and a water bottle
