May half-term holiday Botanical Printing Art Workshop for ages 7–14
- 28th May
About This Event
This workshop invites young creatives aged 7-14 to explore botanical printing techniques, using natural materials gathered from the surrounding landscape. Participants will experiment with a range of exciting printmaking processes, including: Monoprinting – creating unique, one-of-a-kind prints using leaves, flowers, and organic textures and Cyanotype printing – an early photographic process using sunlight to produce striking blue prints from botanical forms. Working both indoors and outdoors, young artists will draw inspiration directly from the gardens, learning how to observe, collect, and transform natural materials into expressive artworks.
