Music in Country Churches Concert

Gothic Voices will evoke the sounds of the 14th and 15th century in the wonderful environment of Dore Abbey. Dore Abbey’s grandeur tells the remarkable story of England’s monastic past. This concert is an opportunity for you to experience what that past sounded like. Gothic Voices will explore the music of the Old Hall Manuscript – an extraordinary artefact and the most substantial source of music from 14th– and 15th-century England. The evening promises to be a celebration of the magnificent architecture of Dore Abbey and the music which adorned it.
