Back to the Renaissance with Ledbury Places and Amici Quorum
Step back in time and enjoy an enchanting evening of Renaissance music in the beautiful surroundings of Ledbury's historic Old Grammar School. Presented by Ledbury Places and performed by the acclaimed local choir Amici Quorum, this special concert features a captivating programme of sacred and secular choral music from one of the most influential periods in musical history.
The evening will also feature the Athena Consort, a Tudor recorder group, whose performances will add another authentic dimension to the music of the period. The atmospheric setting will be further enhanced by the magnificent sound of the chamber organ, generously loaned by Malvern Priory and played by Piers Maxim, Organist of Great Malvern Priory. Together, the music, performers and historic venue promise an unforgettable journey back to the Renaissance.
Join us on Saturday, 19 September 2026. Doors open at 6.30 pm, where you will be welcomed with a complimentary drink before the concert begins at 7.00 pm.
