Root to Fruit Garden Festival
- 6th June
About This Event
The Root to Fruit Garden Festival is a celebration of gardening, growing, and the connection between people and the natural world.
Set in the beautiful grounds of Steiner Academy Hereford, this relaxed, family-friendly event brings together gardeners, growers, horticulturalists, artisans and the local community for a day of inspiration and enjoyment.
Visitors can explore a carefully curated selection of stalls offering plants, seedlings, garden goods and handmade crafts, alongside a programme of gardening talks and demonstrations. There will also be live music, children’s activities, and a variety of food and refreshments available throughout the day.
Entry is free, making it an accessible day out for families, gardening enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. Although the festival is a charity fundraiser in support of Steiner Academy Hereford, it’s free to attend (even parking is free!), with proceeds from stall pitch fees and on-the-day fundraising helping to support the school.
Traders, makers and speakers aligned with the festival’s ethos of sustainability, traditional craft and connection to nature are warmly invited to get involved.
