Roots, Research & Representation: Stories from the History Store
- 12th June
About This Event
Step behind the scenes of the History Store for a special guided tour exploring the histories of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) communities in Herefordshire.
Led by Roots, Research & Representation, our GRT community curator group, this tour brings rarely seen objects out of store to share the stories they hold.
This event is part of Roots, Research & Representation – A Day of Heritage and Art, a community curator‑led programme celebrating GRT heritage through historical research and contemporary creative practice.
Make a day of it...
This tour can be enjoyed on its own, or combined with our Folk Art Painting workshop with Jane O’Connor later the same afternoon (4–7pm), inspired by traditional wagon and canal art. Booking for the workshop is separate.
