Scientific Survey Morning
- 19th June
About This Event
Ecologist Tim Kaye, of Cultivating Learning and Nature (CLaN), will be undertaking a full survey of St Faith's Churchyard as part of the Dorstone Settlement Timeline project.
He will be looking at the botany of the site and wildlife such as slowworms, swifts and mammals.
We're looking for adult research volunteers to help Tim carry out these biodiversity surveys and wildlife recording.
This is a chance for nature enthusiasts to learn about a diverse range of flora and fauna and have their research contribute directly to our new Churchyard Management Plan and the National Biodiversity Network.
No specific knowledge is necessary and all equipment will be provided.
This activity is part of the Dorstone Settlement Timeline project, based at St Faith's Church Dorstone, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
