Wildlife Weekend: Invertebrates

Wildlife Weekend: Invertebrates

  • 11th July
St Faith's Church

About This Event

Families and nature lovers of all ages are invited to join in interactive, guided activities led by Cultivating Learning and Nature at St Faith’s Churchyard, Dorstone.

Each session has a different theme with creative activities for everyone to enjoy - and July’s theme is Invertebrates!

Come and celebrate all things invertebrate, as we'll be opening up a selection of moth traps to delight people. You can then use pooters, pots and trays to find bugs, spiders and beetles in the grass, and use microscopes to look at a range of creatures up close.

For those who are craft-minded, you can create your own mini beast out of air-drying clay too.

Saturday 11 July, drop in 10am - 1pm St Faith’s Church, Dorstone HR3 6AW

This is a FREE event, and all equipment will be provided.

Part of the Dorstone Settlement Timeline, a community heritage project based at St Faith's Church Dorstone, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
