About This Event

How do we capture the silhouette of a tree, the curve of a hill, or the quiet swell of a stream in words? Our perception of the landscape is deeply personal, shaped by memory, emotion, and experience. It feels effortless to see, yet when we try to write it down, the translation can become tangled and uncertain. This workshop invites you to play, experiment, and discover new ways of bringing landscape to life using language. Through a series of guided exercises and thoughtful prompts, you’ll explore how to translate what you see and feel into vivid, expressive writing. There will be space to share your work in a supportive and welcoming group. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with a light soup lunch, plus coffee, tea and cake. Time: 11am - 4pm Suitable for: Anyone interested in words and writing. No previous experience required. Please note: Elements of the workshop may take place outdoors, so sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
