Cathedrals at Night - Hereford Cathedral
About This Event
This year, on Saturday 14 May, many Church of England cathedrals will open their doors after hours and welcome in people of all ages to experience and explore their beautiful buildings and to enjoy a taste of cathedral life.
Come along and discover what Hereford Cathedral has to offer on Saturday 14 May any time between 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Why not come early to hear the three choirs of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester sing at Evensong service, starting at 5.30pm?
Hereford's Cathedrals at Night will include a range of activities:
Enjoy a special evening tour led by our experienced Cathedral Guides. Hear the famous Willis Organ in action at 8pm! The cathedral team will be there to share all you need to know about upcoming events across the year. Take part in collaborative art and craft activities and hear more about our exciting new family programme! Spend some time in the quiet and calm of our candlelit chapels and crypt. Help yourself to a warm drink and light refreshments.
Also, make sure you take a photo on the night and enter our photography contest for your chance to win a family entry ticket to the Mappa Mundi and cake in the Cathedral Café!
