Making her first appearance with Concerts for Craswall, this exciting young guitar player from Herefordshire will perform a thrilling programme of music spanning the Renaissance and Baroque through to the 21st century. It takes in late romantic folk pieces from Central and South America, along with traditional Latin and jazz.

A recent graduate of the Royal College of Music with First Class Honours, Hope studied with professors Gary Ryan and Chris Stell. In addition, Hope spent a semester studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Jesper Sivebæk.
As a soloist, Hope is a versatile performer whose programmes showcase a diverse repertoire ranging from renditions of Renaissance music to the premiering of brand-new works. In 2021, she was awarded First Prize at Leicester Music Festival’s Advanced Recital Guitar Competition. She has featured regularly in the International Guitar Foundation’s Young Artist Platform concert series. This included a performance at Kings Place London during the London Guitar Festival last year.
She has performed at several other venues including the National Portrait Gallery and HowTheLightGetsIn Music and Philosophy Festival, as well as regular appearances in the RCM’s recital series and concerts.
