CountryTastic - Three Counties Showground

About This Event
Held at the Three Counties Showground in the Easter Holidays each year, CountryTastic is a great day out for families with children up to 11 years who are keen to learn all about food, farming and the countryside.
Children can enjoy getting to know an array of farmyard animals and the ‘Field to Fork’ theme means that there are lots of opportunities to learn more about where food comes from, including Ask the Farmer sessions with BBC Countryfile presenter Adam Henson and hands-on cookery sessions.
There are plenty of other indoor and outdoor activities that everyone can take part in. Budding creatives can unleash their arty side with a variety of craft activities, intrepid explorers can discover their inner wild child in the outdoor activity zone, which will host a fun-filled programme of bushcraft skills, den building and much more. The many have-a-go sporting activities on offer will help children burn off some energy and provide the opportunity to try new sports.
Families can also ride in a dray pulled by beautiful heavy horses or in a trailer pulled by a tractor, and children can even have a ride on a ‘unicorn’!

Disabled Access:
If you’re a blue badge holder, please make yourself known to the Stewards as you enter the brown car park for CountryTastic. They will be able to direct you to allocated accessible parking near the entrance.
