About This Event

These courses will be held around Eastnor Castle Deer Park, where it's mixture of parkland and wooded areas provide a variety of wild plants and mushrooms throughout the year. The course begins with a short introduction on what to look for, our foraging code and a brief of the Countryside Act. Then we'll head off to forage and see what we can find, stopping along the way for some homemade refreshments, such as our lovely hogweed and wild garlic soup. After the walk we will end the day with a tasty wild food lunch based on what we have found and some pre-prepared homemade treats. We will email you a list of everything we talk about on the day to help you to remember what you have learnt. Please visit our website for full details of further dates at this venue.
