Steam Day - The Waterworks Museum
About This Event
Engineering and history enthusiasts can enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of a Victorian waterworks with many steam and other engines working. You can learn about what life was like in Hereford during World War Two in the Rotherwas exhibition. There’ll be lots of activities for young people including the Play and Learn Water Park, the Frog Trail, Firefighting and Story of Water Quizzes.
The Waterworks Museum is a destination for steam and industrial history enthusiasts, as well as a family attraction, and includes an award-winning children’s Heritage Water Park. It tells the history of drinking water through working steam engines, interactive displays and hands-on activities.
