Woods, Wellbeing and Words - Queenswood Arboretum & Country Park
About This Event
This session is the first of its kind. We aim to run subsequent workshops as the relationship between participants blossoms.
Creative writing is a powerful tool of self-expression and nature is an endless source of creative inspiration. The woodland is a perfect space for slowing down, meditating, collecting our thoughts and recharging our creative energy. Use the themes of the surrounding nature to trigger artistic cues to get your creativity flowing.
This workshop is led by the Nature Action manager, Julia Morton who has worked for 13 years with people in nature and is passionate about exploring our personal relationship with the natural world. In this workshop she will support and encourage this with free style creative writing activities while immersed in the woods. No experience required, all will receive a very warm welcome.
