This large, beautiful, former vicarage is situated in four acres of garden, an orchard, and a paddock. The Old Vicarage was acquired by the Powell family some 50 years back and has recently gone through a top to toe renovation for its new life as a holiday let ready to welcome you all!

Located in Vowchurch and a short hop to the pubs, shop and bistro of Peterchurch, it is a short drive from the historic book town of Hay-on-Wye (famed for its annual literary festival), Hereford and the historic Mappa Mundi. The location allows unlimited walking in the Black mountains and Brecon Beacons. The Cat’s Back, Hay Bluff and Arthurs Stone are some of our favourites within just 20 minutes’ drive from the house.

Recently refurbished to combine classic Victorian features with the best of contemporary style, the Old Vicarage is ideal for large families or groups of friends looking for something a bit special to use as a base in this fascinating part of the country.

Patio doors lead directly onto a large paved area in which you can use the top of the range charcoal barbecue (BBQ). The sitting room has an open fire along with the latest smart TV and extras. The six spacious and stylish bedrooms have space for 12 people. Two family bathrooms, two ensuites and a separate downstairs toilet ensure there should be no waiting!
